I copied the content of the Webroot folder to my root directory. I went to http:/mydomain.com/install, but am getting an installation error. I have confirmed all of the installation criteria to be true (ASP.NET 3.5, permissions set, IIS 6.0, and trust level Medium. Interestingly, I cannot find a web.config file in my root directory to change the setting to allow me to view the specific error message. I do note that my exisiting TS install is in a Tandemserver2 directory rather than just Tandemserver directory.

I corrected this situation. Here's how: I forgot that GoDaddy installs server application in sub directories and not in the root. Therefore, when you upgrade, you have to upgrade in the sub directory. The install will work fine. However, then your website will only work with something like www.mydomain.com/tandemserver. The easiest way to fix is to copy all of the files in the sub directory over to your root, being careful not to overwrite the "Files" sub directory where all of your web content is located. Now I am back up and running, no problem. I am still not sure why I could not install a second version of TS in the root, but it kept coming up with an error.

I appreciate you letting everyone know how you fixed your problem. I imagine this will help a number of other people who will find themselves in the same situation.
